Thai Man Arrested for Car-Based “DIY” Penis Enlargement Services After Learning from YouTube

October 24, 2025
in International Healthcare News, Lifestyle

In one of Bangkok’s more bizarre busts, Thai police have arrested a 51-year-old man who turned his old 1991 Toyota Corolla into a mobile clinic offering illegal penis enlargement and genital beading procedures — all without a shred of medical training.

According to Thai media, the man — identified as Pittaya — proudly admitted that he learned the techniques by watching online videos and had been running the side business for a year. He advertised his “services” on TikTok, catching the attention of undercover officers who set up a sting operation in Bangkok’s Chatuchak district.

When police searched his car, they found a surgical treasure trove: 189 small pearling beads, anaesthetics, and makeshift surgical instruments. The beads, which he inserted under clients’ skin to “enhance pleasure,” are part of a risky procedure known as genital beading — a practice that can lead to infection, chronic pain, and permanent damage.

Price List from the “Car Surgeon”

  • 1,000 baht (S$40) per bead
  • 5,000 baht (S$198) for circumcision
  • 10,000 baht (S$395) for enlargement injections

He reportedly performed the operations in clients’ homes, parking lots, and even inside his car to “avoid police detection.”
Authorities have since charged him with performing unauthorised medical procedures and endangering public health.

A “YouTube Doctor” Gone Too Far

Pittaya told police that his interest in cosmetic enhancement “just grew” over time as he watched online tutorials. Sadly for him, his medical “career” ended the same way it started — on social media.
